The RGS Schools’ Cricket Festival is the highlight of the senior cricket fixtures each year with a five-day competition featuring six of the seven RGS schools in England. The venue rotates annually and is back at Flagge Meadow for the first time since 2019. We are hosting an OE Reunion that we hope will appeal widely to our alumni.
Play starts at 10.30am and OEs are welcome to attend throughout the day with free admission to Flagge Meadow.
At 2.00pm Tim Curtis will be hosting an OE Cricket Tea in the Festival Marquee and we hope former cricketers will join us to catch up with old teammates and coaches to relive past glories representing RGS. The Cricket Tea will feature a delicious buffet lunch with complementary drinks, followed by tea and cake. This will set up supporters for the match finale!
Tickets for the OE Hospitality cost just £20 per person and places are limited so must be purchased in advance.
For those who want even more Cricket there is the opportunity to take in a T20 at New Road from 5.30pm when Worcestershire Rapids will take on the Kent Spitfires (see the WCCC website for ticket information).
