Always a highlight of our events calendar, Flagge Meadow was once again fit-to-burst with Old Elizabethans who joined us to play for honour, glory (and of course fun!).
Throughout the tournament, every team played each other over the course of the morning with a points being awarded for wins, draws and losses, and the final winners being the team with the most points accumulated throughout.
It was a tightly fought contest with three teams “in it to win it” by the end, however for the second year running, “Bob Marley’s Wailers” triumphed and came away victorious.
As well as some nostalgic sporting fun, OEs enjoyed reuniting with friends and former teachers as well as a tasty buffet lunch the Pavilion with the opportunity to spot familiar names and sporting records on the honours boards.
The Foundation Office expresses a special thanks to Head of Football, Gary Leeds for his tremendous support in the organisation of the event, making it run so smoothly and great fun too.
