RGS Alumni News |
Alumna Roisin Richardson (2012-14) completed her A levels at RGS Worcester before moving to London to study for a Drama degree at the Rose Bruford College, graduating in 2017. This year she took part in Miss England and celebrated reaching the finals.
Roisin, who is currently employed as an actress, said:
“It is not just about looks, but about the whole person and I hope to use this as a platform for charity work and to inspire young girls, particularly as there is so much pressure on social media to achieve perfection”
Roisin competed in a number of different rounds including an ‘Ethical Fashion’ round, with the theme this year promoting recycling.
Roisin aims to move into presenting work on television, using her training as an actress to underpin this. She added “I’m certainly not perfect – no one is. People need to learn to accept themselves for how they are.”
