RGS Alumni News |
Spirits were high (as were the decibel levels!) and memories were flowing as the alumni reunited in Perrins Hall for drinks and a tasty three-course meal.
The evening provided the perfect opportunity for mingling and re-connecting with so many saying how delighted they were to see their old School again.
It was a pleasure for Scott and Sophie to be able to update the alumni on RGS today and in turn to hear where the last ten years have taken our 2012 leavers. It was great fun to learn that the class of 2012 are living all around the UK (and further afield) and working in variety of professions; Finance, Property, Law, Veterinary Science, Medics, Flight Officers and a West End performer give just a tiny snapshot of the plethora of careers the group are enjoying. Marriages, travels, babies, career changes and house moves have also played a part for the alumni since leaving School.
One thing that hadn’t changed was the deep connection, friendship and bond the group shared from their time at RGS Worcester. So many fond memories were shared over the night and in many ways it was as if no time had passed at all since the group were last all together.
We are assured that the fun continued long after the class of 2012 left Perrins Hall, with the trip down memory lane carrying on into town!
